It has been a while since my last post. And to be honest, I took a break from posting because of some negative comments I received.
There is no “right way” to raise a dog. There are a lot of happy pups out there that may be raise in a completely different way than your happy pup. Like parenting, there is so much that you cannot control and of course a lot of variables. Breed, the temperament of the mother, situation the dog came from, environmental stimuli, the owner’s personal beliefs on reward and discipline, house rules, etc. There is no one size fits all approach.
What I love about this blog community is that I genuinely feel that every one that I come across has a passion for their companion, good intentions, and they are doing the best they can.
Everyone has a right to an opinion and but I feel that when surrounded by such compassionate fellow dog owners, it is detrimental to tear someone down for their personal journey and choices along the way.
My blog is homage to making a ton of mistakes in dog ownership. I come here to commiserate with you all, to learn from you, and of course to see your beautiful, happy pups.
End of rant!
